Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev here on Saturday.
Atambayev pointed to the necessity of developing economic ties with Iran, including in transit and transportation, and underlined the need for the formulation of a 10-year plan for cooperation between the two countries to achieve the set objectives.
Underlining the importance of Iran-Kyrgyzstan economic relations, Atambayev called for enhanced cooperation between the two countries on fighting terrorism and extremism.
Kyrgyz President also said that Iran nuclear deal is of special significance to regional stability.
Atambayev described negotiations over Iran's nuclear program as professional and congratulated Iran on concluding the talks.
Meanwhile, the Iranian foreign minister pointed to the process of lifting of sanctions on Iran following the nuclear deal on July 14.
"Iranian companies are ready to participate in Kyrgyzstan," Zarif said, expressing hope that the 11th Iran-Kyrgyzstan Joint Economic Commission will be held within the next three months.
The Kyrgyz president arrived in Tehran on Friday at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation upon an official invitation of President Hassan Rouhani to discuss bilateral relations.
